CRE-4946 | HSBC > BACS Payment
An improvement to the exporting BACS transactions to HSBC to ensure a successful upload to the bank.
Please note that there is a transaction limit on the export file of £20m.
CRE-4964 | Perfect Portal > Matters loading
A change to the Perfect Portal Integration to add an error message to make sure that a user is aware if search since date fails to load all Perfect Portal matters.

A refinement to the Show Instances section to automatically display the tasks for a workflow.

A background work done to ensure that the Status column is populated within the Document List in the same way as in the Folder section.

An improvement to the Visibility in the Forms Designer to ensure that the formula is analysed correctly and the field visibility aligns as expected.

The statement report has been updated for UK sites to present the address in an expected format where the Town, Country and Postcode fields are concatenated on a single line.

Change to move the Application ID and Application secret away from the CMSService.exe.config to the Doc database configuration table.
CRE-4974 | FormEvo > Generating FormEvo forms in the search screen pulls through the correct forms
An improvement to functionality which enables the user to select a category and change the header filters in the search screen. This consequently means that the correctly selected forms are generated.
CRE-4975 | WorkFlow > Processing time of WorkFlow activities
A performance improvement to the processing of WorkFlow activities. Both auto-start and many individual WorkFlows can be run and the system responds promptly to these being processed.
CRE-4164 | iManage > Templates cached within PracticeEvolve
A change with iManage workspace templates which are now centrally cached within PracticeEvolve, the cache is updated when a user logs into the PracticeEvolve client.
CRE-5003 | Legal Aid > Legal help/Legal Aid crime tabs on invoices
Some rework around Legal Aid invoices. Essentially, when on a Legal Aid matter, the user no longer requires the 'Legal Aid Submissions' permission in order to see the 'Legal Aid' or 'Legal Aid Crime' tabs on an invoice. The ability to see these tabs is decided by invoice permissions.

CRE-4928 | Automatic Client Update
The Evolve Plus client application has been enhanced, which means that now can be configured to automatically update.
PC must first be upgraded to this release to benefit from this feature, when enabled, client's PC will update the client application at the time of login, based on the server version.

An improvement to IFT Payment Method to ensure that all of the required parts of the IFT account number displays on the printable slip.
CRE-4899 | Matter Office Receipt > Existing Disbursement option
Some work has been done to make sure that an Office Receipt (Existing Disbursement) can be recorded on a matter.

Refinement to the Transaction Details screen for the issued requisition to ensure that the details for International Payment are displayed fully.

An enhancement to Payment Requests to ensure that the Supplier details are correctly populated for certain types of requisitions, especially Existing Anticipated.

An improvement to the Print Transactions screen on the Office Journal Ledger View to ensure that the reversals are displayed as expected.
CRE-4913 | Outlook > Duplicate Email Filing
Some work has been done to ensure that the system respects the user selection to file an email that the system flagged as a duplicate.
CRE-4934 | Scanning Config for site and user
Refinement to the scan config to allow an admin user to setup scan folder location and autocreation of scan folders for new users. Also ensures the ability for users scan folders to use the user's Friendly Name as well as the system name when identifying the user to file the scan to.

This change ensures that a billed anticipated disbursement can be partially paid when using Client Payment or Office Payment and the partial payment correctly credit the invoice if needed

A resolution to the automated email process. Users can now successfully create an invoice and 'Send as email' without exception.

This change ensures that parties imported from library as foreach are sorted accordingly in appropriate ascending order.

CRE-4479 | Practice Explorer Search > Lucene Index Documents
An improvement to the Practice Explorer search functionality which now records results even if a 'Content' field does not exist on a document in the Lucene index. In such a case results are now still returned.

Format improving of the 'Description' column within the 'Activity Explorer' to provide consistent formatting.

Rework which means that when a user files an initial email with 'File on send' set to yes, this will be filed. Subsequently, receiving a reply from a third party, and the user then replying with 'File on send' set to no... this reply is now correctly not being filed.

Briefs/Bundling
CRE-4642 | Brief > Large document error & PDF temp file not removed from C-Drive
A resolution which means users can now efficiently add large files to a brief without exception. Additionally, after brief is generated, it is correctly removed from the C-Drive location.
CRE-2363 | Brief > TOC supports tags outside of the TOC
The ability to insert Matter Tags has been added to the Template style of TOC in the Bundle. The tags that are available are Simple tags that have one choice. No complex tags like Choice or Foreach are currently supported.

CRE-3323 | Brief > Changes for sectioned TOC's
This rework implements some changes for page numbering for sectioned TOC's. Bundles now correctly support the page number format of '#' along the standard format types. Additionally, the last page of the bundle is now solely over one page and not multiple.
CRE-4612 | Bundles > Suitable width of brief & relabelling of the brief creation screen
A general improvement to the labelling of the brief creation screen, as well as a more appropriately formatted width screen for the generated brief. This essentially avoids any excess white space created.

A change with reporting on Invoice collections for matters that have moved between Accounting Journals. A User can now print the receipt on the office journal and also see the receipt in the Fee Earner Collections Report.
CRE-3819 | Divisions > Centralise division management
Some improvements to the functionality of division management. Now a user can create divisions in accounting options without the need to enable with Documatics (open firm). There are also the following changes... The ability to add or delete a division in the open firm screen has been removed. Furthermore, all fields in the open firm screen can be edited, except the 'name'.
CRE-3933 | Receipts with deposits > Reversing
An improvement to receipts with deposits functionality. Now, on attempting to reverse a receipt which has a deposit, an appropriate warning is displayed preventing the user. Essentially, the user is prevented and told to reverse the deposit first. This functionality exists for both Office/Client scenarios.

An enhancement to handling of Accounting attachments, which are now prevented from being deleted. This mean empty accounts links of the matter ledger no longer exist. These Accounting items apply to Office/Client Payments and Receipts.

New feature within 'Accounts Options' for UK sites to facilitate a default for 'Client Interest Accrued'. When updating either setting the user will be prompted and can choose to update all non-archived matters. The value will be saved when clicking the 'Save' button. Then when a user creates a new matter, the default value set from Accounting Options>'Default for Client Interest Accrued' will be assigned to the 'Client Interest Accrued' field on the matter. | ![]() |

An improvement which means that when a user records a transaction (Office/Client), with divisions selected and schedules a job. These divisions are held once the user accesses them within the scheduled jobs screen.

An improvement which ensures that a full IFT account number is displayed and retained in the payment requisition details and in the Requisition Tab on that matter.
CRE-4708 | Printing Cheques > Correct regional text
An improvement to when a user records a payment with payment method as cheque. Now on printing this cheque, the correct regional text is displayed.
CRE-4883 | HMRC VAT Return > Submitting VAT Return
An improvement which means user can now successfully submit a VAT Return without exception.

Enhancement to ensure that the Client(Trust) Interest Ledgers are upgraded in bulk and the system is starting as expected.
Web Portal
CRE-3821 | Web Portal > Handling extensions using API
This enhancement provides consistency when handling the extensions of Web Portal using API. Addressed extension issues such as no longer producing duplicates of the extensions whether in the name itself or the API extension. Essentially, no duplicates are produced and extensions appear appropriately whether in name or extension.
CRE-3717 | WebPortal > Configurable logo
An improvement where user can override the standard PE logo in WebPortal and it will be rendered as such throughout the portal. Users may need to clear their cache and do a hard refresh in order to see the change, this is often achieved by pressing Ctrl +F5.

CRE-4155 | Purchase Summary Report > Accounts filter
The Account filter now correctly filters by specific accounts when running the Purchase Summary Report.
CRE-4216 | Aged WIP Report > Date range use
Some work which ensures consistency of Aged WIP report results whether Date range option is being used or not. Setting the 'as at' date without the date range filter returns the same totals and figures as having the date range filter on.
CRE-4867 | Vat Analysis Report/Consolidated Tax Report > Localisation
Background work has been done to ensure that the correct template for the report is used based on the regionalisation setting in PE and on the user's PC.
CRE-4289 | Age Analysis Cube > Open in Excel
The Age Analysis cube now correctly handles and executes the 'Open in Excel' functionality.
CRE-4675 | Reports > General Ledger > Reversals
Improvement to the report template to ensure that the Debit and Credit columns in the General Report will show the transaction reversals with a minus sign and formatting consistent with the rest of the report.
CRE-4527 | Accounting Reports > Outstanding Invoices Breakdown Report
Enhancement to reports, in particular the 'Outstanding Invoices Breakdown Report' which runs as expected without any timeout.

Work done to remove the unnecessary 'Discounts Given' column from the Fee Analysis Cube Report.

The 'WIP Report' located in Accounting Reports>Sales has been renamed to 'Work Items Report' to better reflect its purpose and reduce confusion.
CRE-4445 | Journal > General Ledger Report > Cost Centre Headings
Some work has been done to improve the General Ledger Report. Cost Centre headings within the General Ledger Report are now visible when the report is initiated from the 'Journal Viewer' screen.
CRE-4232 | System Verification Report > Ledger Balance/Aged Reports
An enhancement to the System Verification Report to ensure the Ledger Balance/Aged Reports section reflects negative Aged Disbursements
CRE-4749 | General Report > Default enabled for Boolean, decimal, DateTime and int32
Some rework around general reports. Essentially, when a user runs the general report with default enabled for boolean, decimal, DateTime & int32 the CMSService log does not record any unnecessary exceptions.

As part of the new FormEvo integration, the ability for Library Administrators to add a mapping to a specific FormEvo form within the Document library. This can be accessed by right clicking on a library folder and selecting 'Import Form'> 'FormEvo'. User will be able to select and search for forms within the list. Additionally, attached after imported is a child document which provides the mapping.

Enhancement to the FormEvo integration which lists the FormEvo fields appropriately by Page, Row and Column. Essentially, this change ensures FormEvo fields are listed in the correct logical order.

Improvement to the 'Show Instances' function for Workflow to ensure that only appropriate workflow instances are shown. i.e. If accessed from the matter - only workflow for that matter will be shown. If accessed from within the client - all workflows for that client will be shown. If accessed from a workflow - all entities, matters and clients will be shown if the worklfow is currently running on them.

Improvement to the 'ForEach' workflow activity to ensure that the ForEach activity is linked to the Representative tables and workflow only generates precedents for the specific type of representatives.
This is only for the contacts with one contact type assigned.

Legal Aid
CRE-4509 | Legal Aid > FAS work items failing when 'Make Task Type Mandatory'
Some rework around Legal Aid functionality. Essentially, a FAS task type must be created within Accounting options prior to using the FAS time screen. When a FAS task type is created, user can appropriately create a Legal Aid FAS submission.

An improvement to the SMTP messaging functionality where passwords can no longer be exposed through filtering.

iManage
CRE-4576 | iManage > Check out large documents
With iManage enabled, when uploading a large document and the preview is still loading... user will presented with the following message 'You cannot perform this operation because there is a download in progress for the file FILE NAME. Please wait a moment and try again'.
Note: as soon as preview is loaded, user will be able to smoothly check out the document.

A change which means that when a user uses the API to upload a document and view response, the endpoint now returns the new document's Guid identifier.

An update to the Swagger page which is used to document the PracticeEvolve API to include a link to the public GitHub repository.
CRE-4617 | Web Portal > Swagger Update
The POST Workitem endpoint description amended to 'Create a new work item' to reflect that this can only be used to create new work items and not update existing items.
